Joe Jackson: Father of the Year
Joe Jackson, the father of Michael Jackson spoke to a CNN reporter at the BET awards. He was there, he says, to honor his sons memory. All I see in the video, is Joe Jackson wondering where his next meal ticket is going to come from.
You can read another take on this at Hot Air, but honestly, this guy is creepy. Not only can he not talk about his son, he has to have a spokesperson come up in the middle of the interview and read a prepared statement.
Then, after the reporter asks about the family, he cuts the guy off and promotes his new record label. Pretty disgusting.
Joe Jackson has been a leech from day one, looks like even the death of his son isn’t going to change that.

Hi, I grow up in Gary Indian and a very dear frined of Mine named the Jacson 5 when Micheal was 6 years old. Her Name Is Evelyn Lahaie, She was at the Memorial Service in Gary on Friday and told me it was a wonderful service. She did not get to see Joe, and would like to get a message to him. Evelyn would like to contact Joe or have Joe contact her directly. In the 60’s Joe Jackson answered an audition Ad for a talent show to be held at the Big Top Dept Store in Gary Ind. The talent agent was Evelyn Lahaie, Joe Jackson called her and she auditoned them and at that time they were calling them self the Jackson Brothers, Evelyn Lahaie told Joe that brothers was a very common name in thoughs days every one was using brother or sister in there names and that he should use a more catchy name like the Jackson 5, The rest is history, Evelyn Lahaie has the advertisment of the talent show that the brothers frist appered using the Jackson 5 name. Please forward Joe Jackson information to me. Evelyn does not have internet access is why she has aked me to try and get a message to Joe Jackson. Thank you
