Greenpeace Mount Rushmore Banner
Eleven members of Greenpeace, yeah they’re still around, were charged after they were arrested for hanging a banner from Mt. Rushmore. The banner, which had a partial picture of Barack Obama, said “America Honors Leaders not politicians Stop Global Warming”. Don’t they have some whalers to attack or something?
The G-8 Summit is in Italy this week so all of the crazies come out of the woodwork. When asked about the partial portrait of Obama on the banner, they responded by saying that Obama’s legacy was in question.
So essentially the environmentalist wacko’s think that if Obama somehow provides enough regulation to curb global warming then he deserves to be on Mt. Rushmore. If he doesn’t do enough, there will be hell to pay.
Around noon today, these idiots from Greenpeace scaled Mt. Rushmore and risked life and limb to unfurl a banner that told the world just what their priorities are. I don’t exactly know what more they want, Obama and the democrats already passed Cap and Trade through the house. The only thing left is the senate; 60 votes strong.
It just goes to show, that no matter what you give the liberals it’s just never enough. The dems are so close right now on Cap and Trade, Healthcare, and a bevy of other entitlement programs. Greenpeace activists climbing Mt. Rushmore and making a point with a stupid banner proves my point. It’s never enough.

Chairman O stated that the average American would not bear the brunt of this historic tax-increase, claiming instead that: “It is paid for by the polluters who currently emit dangerous carbon emissions.”
Just compare this blatant falsehood to Ronald Reagans’ timeless wisdom:
“The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us.
…Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business.”
And after the way they rammed this stuff through the House with little debate, without legislators even reading it… and while quarantining the GOP from any meaningful input whatsoever, anyone who still believes Obama’s threadbare “bipartisanship” spiel ought to have their head examined.
